Go BEARS!

As a fan that still has my Bears shirts from 1985, that I wore as a 4 year old starry-eyed little girl watching the game, I love the Bears. I love football, I love that we play outside in Chicago, and I love going to the games and freezing my rear-end off cheering on my team. I love the whole experience (I also love Hockey...). I have been a Bears fan while RESPECTING Brett Favre (WHEN HE WAS ON THE PACKERS) as a great quarterback (I feel differently now). I love the Bears, I hope they can go all the way, it would be great for Chicago, and who doesn't like to win!? The Bears-Packers feud is near and dear to all Bears fans, much as I suppose the Packers and Vikings fans.

James, already a die-hard Bear fan!

Lily is wearing ONE of my shirts from 1985...next, Superbowl shirt!

Because I am a Bears fan and live 8 miles from the WI border, I absolutely love this joke I saw on facebook today. Up here, things are lighting up already between fans on both sides. Fans in my neighborhood are flying their Packers flags right next door to fans flying Bears flags. There is razzing, goading, and joking among neighbors and even folks at the stores. It's going to be an interesting game on Sunday...to say the least! Without further ado...

A Bear fan, a Steelers fan and a Packer fan are climbing a mountain and arguing about who loves his team more. The Steelers fan insists he is the most loyal. "This is for the Steelers" he yells, and jumps off the side of the mountain. Not to be outdone, the Bear fan is next to profess his love for his team. He yells "This is for the Bears!" and pushes the Packer fan off the mountain!!

Charlie, HUGE Bears fan!

And: Let us pray: Our Papa, Who art a Bear, Halas be thy name. Thy championship come, thy play be run, at home as it is away. Give us this day our Sunday win, and forgive us our turnovers, though we pounce on those who turnover against us, and lead us not into fourth and long, but deliver us from Rodgers. In the name of Dit...ka, Butkus & the... Holy Payton. As it was in 1985, so shall it be in 2010, reign without end, Amen

  1. Bahahahahahahahahaa!!!
    Too perfect.
I love that you have your Bears shirt from 1985. I kept my Fran Tarkenton (way before your time) Vikings jersey forever, although I can't say where it is right now.
As far as Favre goes, he should have quit while he was ahead. God, what an embarrassment this year has been. In more ways than one.
Good luck Sunday. We'll be watching.
