Why is it that every time we think we are FINALLY getting ahead financially that something always comes up? 2 years ago it was the tractor, we had finally gotten things under control and the John Deere decided to go kaput. Really!? Is this necessary? Now, it's this blasted A/C unit that was never big enough for the house anyway...still, give me a BREAK!
I hate being hot, and here I am, sitting in the basement SWEATING! Not to mention the A/C has run all darn day and still not cooled the house below 76 (it was set to 75!)! My electric bill is going to be outrageous, as if it wasn't already high enough. UGH.
Time for a cold shower...

ReplyDeleteOur humidity broke last night after a storm. I hope it gets better there, too.
In the meantime, do as little as possible. Wear as little as possible and move as little as possible. Eat lots of Popsicles and cold watermelon. Take lots of cool baths. And if none of that works, spend the afternoon in an air conditioned movie theater (I hear there are some good kid flicks out) and make your husband take you out to dinner. Consider it an investment in your sanity.
My husband is in MN. He was there yesterday and spent the night on business...he was telling me it was in the high 70's there...I wished we were with him. UGH.
